Tyre change

  • Even tyres with the legal minimum tread depth of 1.6mm can take much longer to stop than new tyres – so regular maintenance is important.

Your Audi tyres

Obtain a fully fitted replacement tyre quotation by simply entering your Audi registration, or choosing the exact tyre fitment required.

Your Audi’s tyres are vital in bringing it to a safe and controlled stop. But even a tyre with the legal minimum tread depth of 1.6mm takes much longer to stop than a brand new one. And when road surfaces become more treacherous – for example, following rain – the condition of your tyres is an even greater priority. Fortunately, we offer a range of premium tyres at competitive prices.

Your tyres are the only point of contact between your Audi and the road making regular maintenance and correct replacements a key consideration. Not only do tyres affect the acceleration, steering and stopping distance of your car, they are also key factors in fuel economy and reducing CO2 emissions.

To help maintain your tyres, our Trained Technicians will check the tread depth, pressure, appearance and condition of your tyres.  If your tyres need to be replaced, you’ll be provided with tyres of the same high quality of the factory-fitted originals at a competitive price.

To book a tyre check or receive a quote for a replacement tyre, simply contact your local Audi Centre.

Cambelt

Cambelt change

  • Made from a rubber based compound that deteriorates with time, it should be replaced in good time to avoid serious engine damage.

Cambelt

The cambelt is one of the hardest working components in an engine.  Made from a rubber based compound that deteriorates with time, it should be replaced in good time to avoid serious engine damage.

Cambelt wear is influenced by a number of factors including time, mileage and various sources of contamination therefore it’s essential that it’s replaced at recommended intervals.

We recommend that your cambelt is replaced every 5 years or 75,000 miles, whichever comes first*, to ensure optimum safety and performance.

Cambelt replacement is a complex job but by entrusting your car to us you can be confident that the work is being done by experienced Audi Trained Technicians.  And if your vehicle is over three years old, visit our Affordable Servicing section for more information about our exclusive fixed price maintenance offers.

*Not applicable to A2 or V8 RS6 models.  Details refer to 2004 model year onwards.

Brake Fluid

Brake fluid change

  • Like the rest of your Audi, your brakes are beautifully designed and engineered so that day in, day out, they bring you to a safe, smooth stop.

Brake Fluid

Like the rest of your Audi, your brakes are beautifully designed and engineered so that day in, day out, they bring you to a safe, smooth stop.

Brake fluid is hygroscopic, which means it absorbs moisture over time, reducing the temperature at which the fluid boils.  This in turn could result in increased stopping distances, reduced braking efficiency and potentially brake failure.

Your brake fluid should be replaced every two years* to ensure your Audi keeps stopping as well as it keeps going.  And if your vehicle is over three years old, visit our Affordable Servicing section for more information about our exclusive fixed price maintenance offers.

* First brake fluid change at three years, subsequent changes at two years for vehicles built after June 2006.

Transmission fluid

Transmission fluid change

  • Your transmission system has been engineered to give you smooth, seamless gear changes. To ensure this is continues it’s key that your transmission fluid is changed regularly.

Transmission

Your transmission system has been engineered to give you smooth, seamless gear changes.  To ensure this is continues it’s key that your transmission fluid is changed regularly.

Transmission fluid acts as both a lubricant and coolant to your transmission system.  Everyday wear and tear breaks down the viscosity of transmission fluid making it less effective and potentially causing consequential damage to other components such as the engine.

To ensure your gear changes remain seamless, your transmission fluid should be changed according to your service schedule every 40,000 miles.

Air Conditioning

Air conditioning

  • Your air-conditioning system purifies and dehumidifies the air inside your car, helping to prevent your windows from misting up.

Air Conditioning

Your air-conditioning system purifies and dehumidifies the air inside your car, helping to prevent your windows from misting up. However, a build-up of bacteria and other airborne particles can reduce its efficiency, create unpleasant odours and trigger allergies.

To ensure your air-conditioning system is running at maximum efficiency we recommend that you have an air-conditioning service carried out every two years.  Our Audi Trained Technicians will top-up the gas in the system as well as perform a detailed inspection of hoses and connectors as well as the cooling fan and compressor drive belt.

Between services an air-conditioning refresh is also available. This ultrasonic treatment disinfects any microbial, fungal and bacterial particles – ensuring that the air in your car is as pure as it should be.
